The farmer's son, howerer, fell in lore with his adopted sister, and wished to marry her. In deep perplexity, his father again applied to the Rabbi of Kowno, who counselled him to tell the girl the secret of her birth, and then allow her to act as she thought best. The marriage took place in due course, and two children hare increased the joy of the happy pair. The family prospered, and all was going well, when a coreligionist of the farmer, who had quarrelled with him, rerenged himself by informing the sirl's father of tha state of affairs.
