BLENHEIM.

This day.

At the Police Court to day, Daniel O'Brien was fined £2 for disturbing the audience at Pollard's Opera Company last night, and £5 for resisting the constable who ejected him. The damage to the constable's coat was ordered to be paid out of the £5. Mr Allen, R.M., said ho was determined to put a stop to the annoyances to the public at meetings in Blenheim, whether religious or otherwise.

Philip Meßrae was charged, on the information of Inspector Richardson, with neglecting to clean 20,000 sbcep on Weld's Hill, Gordon, and Campden runs, for which defendant was fined 3d each upwards of six months ago. The Inspector admitted that the Campden and Jordan runs were clean, and that the infection was confined to one paddock of 870 ewes of Weld's Hill run. His Worship held that although all three runs had one owner, and all the sheep were originally included in one certificate, and defendant was fined six months ago for all of them as one flock, 3 ret aa two out of three runs had no infection, defendant could ooly be fined for the third. Defendant was fined 4d each on 8826 sheep on Weld Hill, the fines and costs amounting to £147. His Worship said he would endorse the recommendation, if the Inspector chose to make it. that the fine should b8 remitted on all except the 870 owes.
