CAMBEIA. The quartz met at No. 3 level proved to be only droppers from the footwall, bat the main body mast be to hand in a day or two. The quartz in the winze is rubbey, but contains abundance of bright mineral. DARWIN. The quartz now going through the battery shows an improvement upon that previously treated, and in the mine gold is still seen when breaking down the reef j.n the stopes. ' . NEW PRINCE IMPERIAL. Cleaning up for this company to-day produced 188ozs melted gold. WAIOTAHI. . The monthly cleaning up for this com- ' pany took pkce]last evening, and resulted, in the payable return of 2590zs melted gold from 210 tons general dirt. : KURANUI HILL. The winze which is being sunk from Le Manquais' level to communicate with! the tunnel level is now down a distance of, 26 feet. The leader in the bottom it rather small, but; is well mineralised, and in breaking it down a few colors of gold are observed. • • ' '
