This day.
The E.M. steamer Kaikoura arrived at midnight; the passage.occupied 45 days, caused principally through the vessel having the misfortune to lose two blades of her propeller. She\left London on March 12, Plymouth two days later, and made the fastest record (4 days 3 hours and,2o minutes) to Teneriffe Bay; after leaving, a propeller, blade was lost. The Cape was reached on April 4th. Here a diver replaced the blade, and she started again two days later; three days out, however, another blade was lost. The Kaikoura did not call at Hobart. She brings 364 passengers, including 180 Government immigrants, for all ports. One death occurred on the voyage. All are well on board.
