Consols declined by one-quarter today, The market rate of discount has advanced to 27s Bd, and is now 5s 84 below the Bank rate. New Zealand securities are at last quotations. Colonial breadsluffs : Tallow, unchanged. Wool: At to-day's sale a firm tone prevailed. The catalogue comprised 8000 bales. It has been arranged that the Earl of Derby shall introduce the Australasian federal Council Bill into tho House of Lords on Thursday week. The Australian mails por Orient steamship Iberia, from Sydney, were delivered to-day. Arrived at Plymouth: The P. and O. steamship Kome, from Melbourne, February 26.
