AUCKLAND.
This day. The Premier in AucklandMr Stout's meeting was not so largely attended as Sir J. Vogel's or Sir Geo. Grey's, but a patient hearing was given to the speaker, and his address was alto* gether different from anything before given in Auckland, and more resembled a lecture than an address from a leading politician. During the delivery of the address, which, although spoken without much reference to notes, evidenced a careful preparation, the language was good, and gave the impression that the matter of it would be more appreciated in "print, than when spoken. Mr Stout spoke very feelingly of the reception accorded to him in Auckland, and his visit has evidently left a favorable impression of the district on his mind.
