Suakim, April 10 (evening).
Sir Gerald Graham has issued a proclamation calling upon the rebel Arabs to submit to him, and to furnish provisions and cattle for the use of British, other wise they must, be prepared to take the consequences of their resistance.
News has been received from Kassala to the 20th March. It states that the Egyptian garrison up to that time maintained their position against the rebel forces.
London, April 11. * The Cairo news of the rising by the disaffected followers of. the Mahdi has been confirmed, and. it is believed his forces have been completely destroyed in fighting at El Obeid.
Suakim, April 12. Suakim Sheiks Submissive-
The native Sheikhs in the neighborhood of this place, in consequence of Sir G. Graham's proclamation, are rapidly ten dering submission, and it is expected that when the British advance is completed as far as Tambouk, nearly all the tribes will have owned allegiance to British authority.

Sttakim, April 1; It is rumored that Osman Digna has fled, his followers having deserted him. A body of British cavalry has been despatched to reconnoitre, and ascertain whether the report is correct or not..
April 2. The enemy were discovered near Tamai, where they were reported to have been in great force, and hare sent their women out of the way.
50 men of the New South Wales con* tin'gent have been left behind in garrison at Suakim.
April 4. Tamai was entered and burnt by the British after the Arabs were driven to the mountains. The wells were found to be choked, and the troops returned to Suakim;
Tho New South Wales infantry and artillery will be employed in the construction of a railway from here to the mountains in the neighborhood of Tamai.
