Southern Mining
The Grey River Argus of March 26th says :—A boom is on in Great Republic (Mohikinui) scrip. A few months, ago shares were not-saleable for love or money, a lew days ago they were quoted nt twopence each. There are now said to be as high as 7a. That is the report that reaches us privately from Westport. The cause of this sudden and extracrinary inflation of value is alleged to be the discovery of a three feet reef that is expected to crush Bozsi to the ton. The claim is in a forward state and machinery is being placed on the ground. • .
