QUEEN OF BEAUTY.
Tbe pumps were slopped at about eight o'clock this morning, and Price Bros', men have been engaged all day fitting in anew crank pin, some slight repairs being also efffcted to other portions of the machinery. It was expected .that everything would be in rcadinesa to resume pumping by five o'clock this evening. MARTHA EXTENDED (WAIHI) Tho manager, Mr J. H. Moore, armed here last evening wiih_ the result of a cleaning.up after three weeks' run. The retorted weight of the gold was lG6ozs, but on melting to-day it was reduced to 16'X^oz?. The return is a payable one, though the quartz crushed was of low grade.
