STONES, MONUMENTS. No fence, head stone, tombstone, or monument may be frected around or upon any public grave, and only upon or around any private grave, after a plan thereof has been submitted to apd approved by the Council. All fences, headstones, tombstoneß,. or monuments not maintained in substantial repair will be removed by the Council at the cost and risk of the owner of the private grave to which they belong. TRANSFER OF PRIVATE GRATES. ' Any purchaser, executor, or duly appointed attorney of any owner of a private grave, with exclusive right of burial in perpetuity therein, may transfer his or her or «uch interest in the said private grave to any other person, upon satisfactory proof to the Council of having authority to make Buch transfer, and upon payment to the Council.of 10a 6d, and production of receipt for such private grave. LOST RECEIPTS FOR PRIVATE GRAVES. Duplicate receipts for private graves will bo granted to persons applying for same upon payment of a fee of ss. Register of Public and Private Graves in any of the Thames County Public Cemeteries, together with the plan of such Cemetery, can be searched and inspected during office hours upon payment of a fee of'ls for eaoh suoh search or inspsction. AU Fees and Charges must be paid between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the office oJ the- Council. Fees for interments must be paid by the undertaker or person conducting the funeral, and upon such fees being paid a warrant authorising the Sexton to bury will be given, and Buch warrant must be given by the Undertaker, or person conducting the fuoeral, to the Sexton, at his residence, 6 working hours at least before the hour'fixed for the funeral, except upon certificate from tho Medical Officer to the Board of Health that immediate interment is. necessary, in which case the Undo? taker shall give personally to the Sexton the warrant for, burial and such certificate within two hours after death of person to be interred. VAULTS. . Vaults may be constructed within any section secured as a private grave by the owner thereof. Plans with description of such vaults shall be submitted to and approved by the Council before construction. They shall be lined throughout with brickwork or concrete, and covered in with brickwork, concrete, or etone set in cement. The entrance to a vault shall be either by a stone at top or by an iron door, securely fastened. Coffins placed in vaultß must be lined with lead or other approved material, and be firmly and securely soldered. Coffins may be laid in vaults, and covered in with concrete or cement. The of cape of any noiious vapour must be prevented by the owner of the vault. All soil semored in excavating, and the refuse or overplus of material used in the conetruction'of. vaults must be deposited in such place or places aa may be pointed out by the Sexton, and all grass or paths injured made good by the owner of tho vault. For each interment in any vault the same fee shall be pnid to the Council as for public graves, but the coat of opening and closing the vault shall be borne by the owner'thereof. Vaults not maintained in good repair will be filled in and closed by the Council, and no further burials allowed therein. " \ . CERTIFICATES ,OF DEATH. • Certificates of Death must be delivered to the Sexton by the Undertaker or other person conducting the funeral, before interment of the body, or the burial of the body will not be permitted, and in the cas9 of a still-bom child a certificate, as required by law, be furniabed to the Sexton, or the body will not be interred.
