POLICE COURT.-This Day.
(Before H. Kenrjck, Esq., R.M.)
Two small boys named respectively Thomas Hutchison and Patrick Hendy were charged-with throwing stones at the Parawai school' to the danger* of the building. It appeared that the windows of the school have been frequently broken. One of the boys admitted having thrown stones, and the other said he was throwing at a parrot, and the stone fell on the school. The Bench said that the best thing the boys could have done to them would be the- administration of a, sound thrashing^ if they again appeared they would probably be sent to, the Training School. If a penalty were inflicted ifc would only fall on the parents. They were cautioned and discharged.
