Trial Staebs of 5 sovi, with sweepstake of lsov ; 1 mile.—O'Connor'i Colonist, 1; Wrigley's Sweep, 2; Batler'i Navigator, 3. .. Tbotting MaTch of 7oovi, with sweep* stake of Isor; 3 miles.—Wrigley'i Nellie Gray, 1; Dickey's .Ranger, 2; Butler'i Wild Irishman, 3. Butler lodged a protest against the winner and the race ir to be run over again.
Mineb's Pubsb of 15sovs; 1£ mile.— Wrigley's Welcome Davy, 1; O'ConnorY Colonist, 2; Wight's Bushman, 3. Hallcourt and Maycourt also ran.
Hubdle Handicap of 20sovs, 2 miles.— Wight's Bushman, 1; Down's Catch-em, 2; Butler's Taipo, 3. Kate, Totart, and Hallcourt also ran.
Pony Rack of ssovs; If mile.—Eta'i Lad, 1; O'Connor's Billy, 2 ; Lipsey's Butcher, 3 ; Burman's Dot, 4.

GREYMOUTH AUTUMN BACES. Gbbymouth, Yesterday. The weather was everything that could be desired, and over a thousand people were on the ground. The following are the results:—
West Coast Produce Stkaei, 35aors, 1 mile: Playboy, 1; Hakatearamea, 2? Dumbrick, 3.
Greymouth J.C. Handicap, 125sovs, 2 miles: McGaflin's Cardigan, 1; Volunteer, 2. Marie Stuart atruek a post and ran inside the course on the last round, when she looked almost a winner.
The Hack Race was won by Maori Boy.
.Railway Stakes Handicap, 40sort, ly miles : This was a gift to Marie Stewart. Hoppicker 2, Comet 3.
Hurdle Sace, 40sovs, 2 miles: Mirois, 1;-Comet, 2; Harkaway, 3. At the first jump Mirois and his rider fell, bat he picked himself up and rode a splendid race in good style coming up the straight, much to the surprise of everybody.
