In the meantime Harry Camp got hold of one of his brothers (Willie), and carried him to escape by the staircase, which runs, up the back of the house. Here he met a man who took the child from him. Harry then faced the fire, and tried to go back and «aye his brothers-Edward, aged four and Albert, aged eleven. The flames and imoke, however,' beat, him back, and sweeping over him, forced him to jump through the flames by a window .at the back. He was, severely burned about the head and chest, and one of arms was broken. He now lies at Mr Armstrong's house in a precarious condition, attended by Dr Cushney. The ho boys, Edward and Albert, were both lost in the flames. Willie Camp was also severely burned, but is in no danger. It"«P- ---" posed the fire was caused through the ashes beine blown under the hotel from the ash pit. Camp has lost every penny, the insurance being in favour of the Building Society.
