DuNßpiN,This day. There was a heavy rainfall yesterday,, and showery weather has eot in, but the coarse is not bad. At Forbnry this morn ing Vanguard had three rounds, the last fast with Spade Guinea. Wapiti and Nelson bad three rounds fast, the former going particularly well. Adamant had three rounds at a good steady gallop. Lady Emma did slow work. July and Sou'wester, had' a good gallop together, I the laltcr having the best of it. Tasmari and Trenton bad a half-speed gallop. All the horses travelled well. Setting. At Tattereall's on Saturday, the follow* ing were the quotations :—IOO to 33 Vanguard, 100 to 30 Wapiti, 100 to 25 Lady Emma and Trenton, 100 to 11 Sou'- , wester, 103 to 8 July and Capt. Webster, 100 to 4 Adamant, Nelson. Leon, and Minerva, ICO to 3 Poet, 100 to 2 Matanaka and Mokia, 100 to 1 Taiftroa, 200 to 1 Clogs Lady Emma was backed to win £500 at fives, and there were offers to fto on, but no,more money was forthcoming at the price. 4*bout Trenton, 4GO to 64 was offered, and ICD to 18 booked, takers wanting to , continue at the latter price. Bate's accepted 1000 to 20 about his chance.
