The trial crushing of 18 loads from the reef in the El Dorado tunnel was finished to-day at the New Prince Imperial battery, the yield being 4iozs Mdwts melted gold, or an average of Sdwts per load. This is not payable, bat the fact of the yield being somewhat less than was expected will not prevent the management from vigorously pushing on operations. The. Bernard drive is in 85ft from the crosscut, aiid about 60ft more will take the face to the point towards which the hopes of the shareholders have been . directed since operations were started.
