AH AiAEMTK a iiSE AS B A3?« FLICTING A NtfMSKOUS CLASS; The disease commences with a sllight derangement of the stomach, - but,' if neglected, it in time involves the whole frame, embracing the kidney's, liver, pancreas, and, in fact, the entire glandular system, and the nffl cted drags out a miterable existence until death gives rel ef from suffering. The disease is often mistaken for other com plaint a ; but if the _ reader will nsk himself the following questions, he will be able to determine vi hather he himself is one of the sfflic'.cd :—Hare I distress, pain, or difficulty in breathing after eating ? la there a dull, heavy feeling attended by drowaiue«s ? Have the eyea a yellow tinge ? Does a thick, sticky, mucou* gut her about tho teeth in the mornings, accompanied by, a disagreeable tußte ? Is the tongue coafce: P Are there pains in tho side and buck ?. Is there a fulnosa about tho right sido as if the liver were enlarging P lit ' there costiveneß* ? Is thoro vertigo or dizziness when risißg suddonly from a horizontal position? Are. the secretions from the '■ kidneys scanty and highly coloured, with a deposit after standing ? Docs food ferment soon after eating, accompanied by flatulence or a belching of gas from the stomach P Is - there frequent palpitation of tho heart? These various symptoms may never be present ' at one time, but they torment tha sufferer in - turn as the dreadful disease progresses. If the ease be one of loDg standing, there will be a dry backing cou»h, attended after a time by expectoration. In very advanced stages the skin assumes a dirty brownish appearance and the hands and fe t are covered by a cold, sticky perspiration. As the liver and ' kidneys become more asd more diseased, rheumatic pains appear, and the usual treatment proves entirely unavailing against this latter agonising disorder. The origin of this - malady is indigestion .or dyspepsia, and a smnl quantity of the proper medicine will remove the disease if taken in its inoipiency. It is most important that t!ie disease should be promptly acd properly treated in its first stages, when a litUe medicine will effect a cure, and even when it bt>s obtained a strong hold the correct remedy should bo persevered in until every vestige of jthc disease is eradicated, until tbe appetite has returned, and the digestive organs, restored to a henlthy condi- , tion.
