Mattiu Kaimatje v. J. OlabkT--. Claim, £50 damages for trespass.-—Mr Miller appeared for .plaintiff,'and'on. his application the case was adjourned till next Court day, to afford a chance of a settlement being arrived at.
P. Teainob v. County Council.—Claim, £36.—Mr Lush appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Miller for the defendant. —The case was adjourned to next Court day. In be the Hobson GM. Co—On the application of Mr Lush, an order was made for the payment of the costs of the liquidation, subject to the taxation of the Clerk of the Court.
In be the Old Golden Calf Co.—Mr Miller applied for a winding up order on behalf of the Bank of New Zealand. The District Court House, Thames, was fixed as the place where the proceedings are to be carried on, and the .general meeting of creditdrs will be held-at Mr Miller's office on thel7»h inst. v
