Supreme Court Sessions.

In Auckland, Edward Dumont, for stabbing Francis Durant on December 3rd, was. seateM-eii to six months'' imprisonment with hard labor; Jacob Ilansen, foiKassaultiDg John Constantine, at Wainui, was fined £5, or in default; one month's imprisonment; Thomas Johnson, for forging telegrams asking for money, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. No bills were fouad against W. J. Hobson, shooting a horse ; Meinata te Hara, horse stealing ; James Joseph Daross and Charles Cunningham, personation (the Coromandel cases); Abram Hidings (two indictments), indecent assault. A true bill was brought in against Abram Hidings on one indictment. JPaul Louis was sen* tenced to. nine months'Jmprisonment with hard labor for larceny as a bailee; Huiatahi, twelve months for horse stealing; George Andrew Watkins, 18 months: for stealing -from a dwelling. The jury returned a verdict of " Not guilty " in the charge against John Dignan of breaking and entering the dwelling-house of Constance Johnson, and stealing goods.
