This day. Mr J. S. Gibbons' sawmill at Waiuku was burnt yesterday ; insured for £800. Capt. John Jacob, who commanded a three masted schooner osPrey« writes to the Herald :-—lf the Claimant arrived in Melbourne in 1854, after being picked up at sea, it must have been another Osprey. It certainly never could be the one I was in, as she went into the coasting trade after I left her. The steamer Clansman is to make an excursion to Northfolk Island on January 19th.
