NEW PRINCE IMPERIAL.

At No. 7 level, the No. 2 reef is being driven on westward; it is small in the face, and has not yet shown any gold, but the precious metal may be met with any breaking, as gold was left showing near the bottom of the winze, in which a strong leader was followed all the way down. The stopes above Nos. 6 and 5 levels are looking about the same, though so much picked stone as uaual did not come to hand last week. QUEEN OP BEAUTY. The shaft is now over 50ft. below No. 10 level, the country continuing a splendid class ©f blocky sandstone. A stream of water was flowing into the shaft on the southern side on Saturday, but it has now stopped. As the reef is known to be only a few feet distant, this may be an indication of its having again resumed a northerly underlie, but it will be difficult to tell, as the pressure (owing to the shaft being so much below the outlet at No. 10) would perhaps be sufficient to drive the water through the crevices in the rock. Only 30ft. now remains to be sunk before the depth at which the chamber will be opened out will be reached. GOLD KETUKNS. Caledonian. —Corin and party, who are tributing at No. 1 level, close to the shaft, have crushed 10 loads of quartz and 501bs of picked stone for the good yield of 81ozs 14dwts gold.

Deep Level Oeoss.—Newman and party, tributers, have treated 8 loads of dirt for 13ozs gold.

KxTßiNtri Hill —Howe and party today banked 2ozs 7dwts gold. Moanataiei. — Catran and party's crushing gave 18ozs 7dwts gold.
