Mauritius advices to November 19th are to hand. Under that date Messrs Ireland, Fraser, and Co. report of the sugar market as follows .— The market is firm ; ac> counts of incoming crops are favorable. The month's engagements include 800 tons for Dunedin. The clearance during the month for New Zealand ports are 300 tons for Dunedin, and 600 for Auckland. Exchange, 60 days' bank credit, New Zealand, 15 per cent.; Australian, 17 percent, premium The stock of sugar on hand is 35,000 tons. The exports this season to New Zealand are 3000 tons.
