NEW PLYMOUTH.
This day,
The Taranaki Herald's special reporter, who accompanied the Hon. Mr Ballance round the coast, has wired from Qpunake that the stables at Prosser's Hotel were burnt down this morning at 2 o'clock. Nine horses were in it, but were all got out; the building was not insured. Ihe Native Minister left for Hawera this morning. The wet yesterday prevented Mr Ballance seeing much of the country, and he did not visit Farihaka. He was deputationised at Opunake relative to the harbor and roads.
