The Agent General in London has tele graphed that the Government, through Lord Derby, in the House of Lords, denied that the Imperial Government were hesitating to introduce an Enabling Bill, and that it had no wish to withdraw from its pledge, and is sauguine that the measure would pass without opposition. His Lordship added that he expected to receive in the spring replies from the colonies to the amendments proposed in the draft of the Enabling Bill, and explained that the delay whichhad taken place would enable New Zealand and iSTew South Wales tore-consider their position, although the unanimity of the Colonies iv the matter was necessary.

Mr Booth, the temperance reformer, has decided to visit Auckland in January, and will open his mission in New Zealand with a series of ? ddresses there.
