A steerage passenger named James Cadman died of delirium tremens during the voyage. Obituary. The Hon. W. Swainson, first Attorney General of the colony, is dead. Tenders have been received here for converting the barque Pelham into a screw steamer. The tender of Seager for £3550 was rccepted.
