This day. The Wolseley mine is floated; the shareholders are the best Auckland investors. It is proposed to start mining operations at once, either by sinking a shaft or working from that of the Moanatairi Extended. The directorate will comprise equal proportions of Auckland and Thames men, with Joseph Howard as Chairman. The capital of the company is £25,000 in 50,000 10s shares Much credit ib due to Mr McDonald Scotfc for inducing Auckland capitalists to take the matter up.
