Victorian B.C. Spring Meeting.
Melbourne, Yesterday,
The third day's racing at the Y.R.O. Spring Meeting took place at Flemingtoa to-day. The following are the results : — Maiden Plate, If miles—Pilot, 1; Coningsby, 2; Hippogriff, 3. Flying Stakes, f miles—Nevrstead, 1; Malua, 2; Elizabeth Garrett, 3. A splendid race, only won by a neck. Eleven horses started.
Spuing Handicap, ly miles—Privateer, 1; Lavington, 2; Mozart, 3. Oaks Stakes, 1J miles—Veaetia, 1 ; Helene, 2 ; Gratitude, 3. Won by half a length. Time, 2mins 45rf-secs. iolanthe made the whole of the running, Venetia following until the turn into the straight, when lolanthe was passed, and Venetia went to the front.
Royal Pack Stakes, If miles—David, ] ; Tremando. 2 ; Off Color, 3. Veteran Stakes—Kit Nubbles, 1; Fryingpan, 2; Rirrgwood, 3.
