This day. More Effigy Burning.

Bonfires were burnt last night in honor of the passing of the Westport Harbor Bill. Effigies of Mr Shrimski, M.H.E., and Mr Waterbouse, M.L.C., who opposed the Bill, were burnt, while cheers were given for Mr O'Connor, member for the district, and Sir Julius Vogel.
