MOANA.TAIRI. The manager yesterday afcernoon banked 47ozs 12dwts melted gold, from a crushing of 66 tons of general dirt from the slopes on the No. 9- reef. The staff of men has been considerably reduced lately, there being now only about half-a-dozen employed by the company.
DAET. jSetoriing took place this morning for the good return of 1220zs retorted (120ozs 12dwts melted; gold, the yield from 72 loads of quartz, or an average return of over ltozs to the load. The whole of the dirt came from the drive andstopes at No. 4 level, and from present appearances the return from next crushing will be eon> sideralbiy larger. GOLD RETDENS. Deep Levei, Caoss.—A crushing of 10 loads for Nowman and partj gave 6czs SdwtsgoJd.
