The cargoes of New Zealand mutton ex Northumberland and Tongariro have been landed in good condition, realising current rates.
The English Government has agreed to the proposal of the German Government, that a conference of delegates of the powers interested should be held at Berlin next month, to consider the best means of securing the freedom of commerce on the Congo and Niger rivers.
