The total quautity of wheat afloat for tho United Kingdom is estimated at 600,000 quarters. .During tho week Australian tallow has declined a shilling per cwt., and is to-day quoted at 33s 6i for beef and mutton of fair average quality. New Zealand frozen mutton, of prime quality, is further improved, and is now realising s|d per pound.

The Australian and New Zealand mails, which Isffc Auckland on August 19, were delivered in London to-day.

September 27. Threatened Dynamite Outrages.

Rumors hare been received at Scotland Yard leading to the belief that the Irish dynamite party has formed further plots for the destruction of public buildings in England, and 'that emissaries, who are now on the Continent, will cross the Channel in order, to carry cut the conspiracy. Increased precautions are being taken at Dover, and great vigilance is to be exercised both by the Customs officers and the police to prevent the importation of dangerous explosives.
