Medical — FIRST PBIZE A.A. and P.A. EXHIBITION, 1883. — £1,000 REWARD.—Caution. Ask for Hitchens's Blood Restorer, THE GREAT NEW ZEALAND REMEDY FOR CLEANSING, PURIFYING, AND INVIGORATING THE BLOOD. THE Proprietor, in explaining why he has not for eovae time pushed the sale of the above, would Btate that he received such a Berious check by the disastrous fire which destroyed costly appliances and a magnificent stock of prepared herbs (rficently replaced), and he has not therefore been in a position to come before the public. He has not been able to satisfy all the local and foreign demands, and was unable to administer as extensively as he could have desired to the wants of a suffering world. MR HITCHENS is now happy lo slate that he is once again in a position to supply tbis health-giving Medicine, which he is convinced will, " with the bleesing of God," cure almost any disorder, owing to its irresistible yet gentle operation. In coming before the public and planting his standard once more on the ramparts of the great enemy of mankind— i.e., sickness—he trusts that an overruling Providence will bloss his future efforts to mitigate (be physical woes of man. In this ovening's Stab, appear a few of the hundreds of testimonials received by Mr Hitcbens, one of which is from one of Auckland's best known citizens. It requires no further comment than | to say that his illness was of a most eevere type, baffling the skill of medical men, while other i infallible remedies were tried without the slightest change for the better. Here ie what Captain Faeqtthar cays of HITCH ENS' BLOOD RESTORER:— Anckland, October 15, 1888.—Dear Sir, —For twelve months I suffered ccv. rely from eciatica, and tried various remedies, without avail, and as a last resource I was recommended to give your Blood Restorer a trial, which I did, and I have much pleasure in testifying that after taking it for three months I completely recovered my health. I may say I had no faith in ifc at first, but the result wes such a thorough cure that I consider it my duty to acknowledge, unsolicited, its curative powers.—l am, Sir, faithfully yours, W. Fabquhae, Master Mariner, Ponsonby.—lo H. A. H. Hitchens, Esq. The Proprietor would here intimate that £1,000 will bo forfeited to py Charitable Institution if the good done by his Medicine has been over estimated. The Proprietor is prepared to meet on a public platform any persons who dispute the veracity of testimonials, and he will undertake to prove the genuineness of the cures effected. He is alee willing to meet in public the. medical gentlemen who have attended the patients and have pronounced them incurable, and answer questions put relative to the facts of the eases quoted. Medical men's names have, from motives of consideration, been excluded from all testimonials, but then personal acknowledement would add increased brilliancy to the fa re of the medicine. Mr Axex. EaGiobtok, Hairdresser, of Queen street, Auckland, suffered with & paralysed arm, with every indication of the diseise spreading through the body. The doctors pronounced the case hopeless, and friends believed his end was drawing near, when he waa induced to give Hitchons'a Blood Restorer a trial, the result being an immediate change for the better j and on continuing to take the medicine, he was completely restored to heath and strength. Mr D. 8.. Chibholm, Agent for Mr HITOHEHS. —Dear Sir, —Ifc is with luartfelt thanks I am able to endorse the sterling qualities of Mr Hitchens's invaluable Blood Restorer. Being induced by Mr Ditsber, who spoke in eulogistic terms of its merits, to place my wife (who was suffering very acutely with Rheumatic Fever) under its treatment, I am very happy ■ to state the medicine has acted quite msgically.
