Melbouene, yesterday. Mr Stout on Federation. Mr Service has received a reply from the Premier of New Zealand to his telegrams regarding the question of annexation. In his reply, Mr Stout declares his entire concurrence in the desire to accelerate the action of the Imperial Government in the matter. [Received September 20, 2.35 p.m.] Melbouene, This day. Mr Griffiths, Premier of Queensland, has cordially responded to the Hon. Mr Service's telegram urging fresh action in the matter of the proposed Pacific annexation. The Tichborno Case. Cresswell has identified the lunatic at Paramatta Asylum as his brother, and not as Arthur Orton.
