THE SOUDAN.
Caibo, September 17 News from Gordon.
A despatch from General Gordon, dated Khartoum, August 26, has been received here by telegraph from the Nubian frontier. In the despatch General Gordon states that he is waiting the arrival of British troops in the Soudan, and a&ain requests that Zebehe Pasha may be sent to him and £300,000. General Gordon also announces that he commands the road from Khartoum to Berber, and that he intends to despatch a force to occupy the latter place in a few days from the date of his despatch.

An Hawaiian prince, who has been staying at Naples, was seized with the cholera, which terminated fatally.
The British population resident Jin Foochow and Shanghai are agitated at the complications daily occurring between France and China, and which are likely to involve the neutral ports.
Sir Stafford Northcote's speeches in Midlothian have been well received.
