HANSARD.
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.)
Sib, —Of course you are aware that Hansard, or the sessional Parliamentary debates of our representatives, has been reduced within a reasonable price for almost the poorest of our various communities. The debates of the present Parliament (about 30 numbers) may now be had for five shillings; they are certain to contain a mass of useful information for the people at the present crisis of the colony. All who take an interest in what is going on at Welling* ton (and who does not justnow) should get them. Especially will they be useful to the members of the various Parliamentary Unions now forming throughQUt the colony. By paying five shillings at once to Mr Goniy, Postmaster, any person who gires his name and address will receive the numbers as published post free. My recommendation is to you all to get them, and ponder them well if you desire to understand who governs you, and what is the real intention of your governors and representatives at the present crisis.—l am, &c,
William Wood.
