APPLICATION TO FORM A WATER RACE. ri^HE Hauraki Gold Miniug Company JL (Limited) have applied for periiisiuon to can struct a Water Bace for mixuDg purposes, commencing at v point at the commencement of the present Hnuraki Water Baeo, and ter* minating at the H«uraki Battery at KarangaJiaki, as shown on plan. The length of such Race is about 26 chains or thereabouts, and its intended course is identical with that of the Baut-aki Race.
