NEW PBINCE IMPERIAL. The country in the western drive at No. 6 level is improving, and in advancing the dig to day, strong colors of gold were seen in some stringers on the footwall of the No. 2 reef. CALEDONIAN LOW LEVEL. The 640fc level crosscut is now.in 736 ft, 31ft. having been driven during the week, notwithstanding several delays iv winding operations. The country is a splendid class of white sandstone, and small quartz stringers are- occasionally passed through. THAMES GOLDEN CROWN. Cleaning up took place to-dtiy, the yield being 97ozs 6dwts melted gold, for which 126 tons of general dirt from all parts of the mine have been passed through the mill. CAMBRIA. Tenders were opened as follows at noon to day f^r driving a crosscut 100 ft. northward at No. 2 level:—J. Floyd (accepted), 13s lid per foot; W. Aitkenson, 14s;. J. Alien, junr., Ids 6d ; J. Parrel], 15s lOd; E. Witford, 17s 6d; E. Adams, 35s 6d. GOLD RETURNS. Dart.—Hardman and party have crushed 2 loads for 2ozs 3iwts cold^— McCollum and party have treated 2 loads for 2ozs Idiiwts gold.
Eocky Point.—Yesterday's lodgment was reduced to 120ozs 13iwts on melting to-day. '
