Sir G. Grey to Form a Minissry.

Wellington, Friday,- 9.55 p m. Between 3 and 4 o'clock this afternoon, Mr J. W. Thomson, who had been entrusted with the formation of a new-Minis-try, waited upon His Excellency the Governor, and stated his inability to do so The Governor thereupon sent for Sir George Grey, who attended at Government House between 5 and.6 o'clock, and had a long interview with His Excellency, with the result that Sir George Grey has undertaken the responsibility. :'■■'■
