This day. The ship Lyttelton left Picton for London yesterday. Her cargo is valued at £19,929, and includes 10,132 carcases of frozen mutton and lamb, 1309 frozen rabbits (exported by the Marl borough Freezing Company) j the general cargo includes 145 bales wool, 400 cases preserved meats, and 466 casks of tallow. It is iotensely cold. We are having showers of rain and sleet; the weather is stormy aud unsettled. Southern Telegraph Line Interrupted.
Telegraph communication is interrupted south of Kaikoura, and no mea-> snges can be sent to Obristchurch or Dunedin.
