The other workings present no change to report. DEEP LEVEL CROSS. The crosscut at No. 4 level of the Prince Imperial shaft has not yet got the lode touched over a week tolidfquarlz has been penetrated ■ffot 10ft, and still the hanging wall of the Jode has not been reached. The quartz has not shown any gold yet, but portions of it are rery promising in appearance. .The drive on the lender at the 640 ft. level is »till in progress,
CAMBRIA. Thelatest report from the manager says. —The contractors hare driven on main reef 39 reef, o? nearly half the distance of their contract. The crosslode, or second , bunch of stringers, has been got through, they baring come in 10 feet back from the present face. A little gold hes been seen. Both quaiz from main lode and these stringers, has been saved and a trial crushing of each will be made at Queen of. Beauty battery as- boon as the Darwin Groaning is finished. Stringers workings: 17 londs and a few pounds of picked stone ' haje been won from stopes and drive during'last week, a crushing from which will be begun as Boon as the other trial crushings are, finished. Everything connected with the workings and show of gold are looking equally favourable to former reports. • ROCK? POINT. The 30U>8 picked stone announced yesterday came from the third stope going towards the Adelaide boundary. The I > reef is looking well. - HAND OF FRIENDSHIP. ' No breaking down has taken place in the eastern drive on No. 1 reef at 80. 3 level since the last visiting day, ,tbe men having been engßged stripping. The dig is now in about 20ft., and the country is very favorable for gold.
