A Murderer Hanged
This day.
Edwards, the Ormondville murderer, was executed this morning. He was apparently callous, nod walked up the steps leading to the drop without indicating the slightest fear, and stood under the gallows without a tremor in hiilimbs. As the clock struck, eight the signal was given by the sheriff, the bolt drawn, and the wretched felon was hurled into eternity, death being instantaneous.
