Buckland 'were nominated.

Mr Seymour George addressed -the electors of Parnell last night, and received a vote of thanks and confidence. He, said if the Ministerialists .were defeated,' as seemed probable,^Atkinson would in all likelihood tender his resignation before the House met, and advise the Governor to send for Grey, whom Atkinson acknowledged as the leader oL the Opposition. In the event of Vogel being returned with a strong Southern party at his back, there was a probability of a Coalition between Atkinson and Grey.
