Mr William Kelly addressed a meeting of the electors of Tauranga in the Public Hall here on Saturday: evening last. There were about 50 electors presentand the chair was occupied by Mr J.M. Robspn, who briefly introduced' the can-, didate to the meeting. Mr :Eelly, after touching upon the prinoipartQpi'isfpf the day, said that if: elected, he would resign the seat in favor of ,i\lr G; Y. Htpwart 'should that Rentletiien return to the colony during his (Mr Kelly's) term of office. ;He l would support the Liberal party .whoever: , to leader , might be.
