• A serious accident occurred last night. A pair of horses bolted with a brake, at the Wqodville end of the Manawatu Grorge, and the break, with five occupants, was thrown over tbe cliffs into the river bed; Two of the ladies were injuredV but the rest escaped almost unhurt. Of tb.9 injured, the wife of the liev. JV Worboys is in a critical state from internal injuries, and Mrs liowry bad her foot crushed.
