NEW PRINCE IMPERIAL.
A portion of No.-2; reef at No. 6 level was broken down ; today, with the encouraging result that 3lbs of'excellent picked stone were bagged. The portion broken was that immediately opposite the crosscut. The formation of the lode is about 15 inches wide ; the hangingwall is defined but the < foot waif is not, and the lode is very mullocky, .quartz-forming in irregular bunches on the hanging wall. It 4s very satisfactory to find that gold was freely seen wherever quartz was found, auguring woll for the richness of, the lode whea it opens out, as it is pretty sure ,£o do as driven on, tho country being as favorable as could be wished.
