Sib, —Is it within the province of the Inspector of Slaughterhouses, to see .that some kind of attempt is 'made to Mfee& sheep and lambs, left ip the yards.at Parawai, after the sale ? The writer baa reason to believe thsit very gross negligence—to use a mild term:—resists in .this matter, and that the poor animals have in -many cases ' to^ exists for ' several days without anything,like sustenance. —I am,' &c, •■' \
