At a meeting of the .Opposition -this morning, the following resolution was agreed to :■—" That while willing to grant reasonable Supply to Her Majesty for a limited period, this House desires to reS cord its disapproval of the course ta.ken by, Ministers in adrising {lie Governor to dissolve Parliament, thereby rendering it impossible to proceed with ' certain useful legislation desired by the country in visw~ of the approaching dissolution, and thereby
putting the country unnecessarily Co great expense by having two scssioos in one year." Forty members were present, and the above resolution will be moTcd by Mr O'Callaghan upon the House going into Committee of Supply this eveaiog. The Opposition count upon a mejorily of from five to ten on a division on this resoludoa.
