Arrived, at Plymouth : The steamship Tongariro, from Lyttelton, May 3. Her cargo of frozen meat is bettered to be in good condition. It is announced that Turkey will abstain from sending delegates to the European Conference unless the discussion onEygptian affairs is entirely unlimited, or unless a previous agreement be come to with England as to the basis of settlement to be arrived at by the Powers. ■ Brussels, June 11. In the elections to the Chambers of Representatives, which pre now proceeding in this country, the Liberal candidates have been everywhere defeated by the Clericals, whose success has been ill* received^in this city, and serious antiClerical* riots occurred to-day, but were suppressed by the police. Bbusseis, June 12. j In consequence of the defeat of the Liberal parity at the general elections for I the Chamber of Representatives, the Ministry has tendered it's resignation to the King. New Tobk, June 31. The Marquis and Marchioness of Gorman by and suite have arrived here, en route to London, and continue their journey oh the 18th inst. The forthcoming election to the Presidency of the United States continues to excite considerable interest in all parts of the country. The Hon. Samuel J.
