The Bad and Worthless are never imitated or counterfeited. This is especially true of a family medicine, and it ib positive proof that the remedy imitated ia of the highest value. As soon as it had been tested and pioved by the whole world that Hop Bitters was the purest, best and most valuable family medicine on earth, many imitations sprung up and began to steal the notices in which the prtss and tho people of the country had expressed the merits of H. B.j and in every way trying to induce suffering invalids to use tbeir stuff instead, expecting to make money on the credit and good name of H.B. Many others started nostrums put up in similar style to H. 8., with variously devised names in which the word " Hop " or " Hops" were used in a way to induce people to believe tbey were the same as Hop Bitters. All such pretended remedies or cures, no mntter what tbeir style or name is, and especially those with the word "Hop" or >"Hops" in their name or in any way connected with them or tbeir name, are imitations or counterfeits. Beware of tbem. Touch none of them. Use nothing but genuine American Hop Bitters, with a bunch or cluster of green Hops on the white label, and Dr Soule's name-blown in the glass. Trust nothing else. Druggists and Chemists are warned against dealing in imitations or counterfeits.

The dynamite scare has evidently spread to New Zealand, judging by the following in last night's Auckland Star :-*• The steamer Macgregor did not bring much cargo from Wbangarei yesterday, but yet there was one email item which caused some uneasiness. It was a small package "wrapped in white paper labelled "dynamite," and was discovered in the Vessel's hold while the cargo was being put out. Some of the hands appeared to conclude that the vessel was about to be blown tj atoms by some infernal^machine, and in great haste the "mysterious find" was repotted to Capta'n Johnson. He reported the matter to Sergeant Clarke, who bravely proceeded to the ioene of anticipated disaster, pictttd up the dreaded parcel, opened it, and discovered about two dozen dynamitedeloriaiorecarefully packed in sawdust. Then the anxious onlookers cried " is that all ? " and the sensation being exploded, work was proceeded with 'as usual. , * The German Navy consists of thirteen ironclads, thirty-one cruisers, thirteen ironclad gunboats, and fifteen torpedo boats for coast defence. "Bottgh oh Bats."—Clears out rats, mice, roaches, flies, ants, bed-bugs, beetles, insects, skunks, jack-rabbits, gophers. Druggists, Moses, Mois & Co., Sydney, General Agents.
