Our new system of engagement works well, and in every case meets with publio satisfaction. Engagements during the last week :—Cooks, £2 10a and found ; second co~ks, v 2ss to 30s ; waiters, 25s ; blacksmiths, £2 and found ; under-grooms,.£l per week and found ; useful men, £l ; farm .bands, 15s to £1 per week ; bush hands, 5s per day and house; laborers, j 6s to 8s per day; milkers,>los to 15s per | week and found. Wo. can supply ' farm | managers, farm hands, station managers, station hands, nrlker?, laborers, married couples for farms and bush, men cooks, waiters, hotelmeo, carpenters, bakers, assistants, grooms and gardeners, storetnen, clerks, and general bands. A few women servant? are open for engagements; cooks, 12s to 203 ; housekeepers, 15s to 255; housemaids, 10s to 12s ; parlormaids, 12s ;.nursegirls, 6s to Bs.
