A Sad Suicide.
[Per Pbess Association.J Auckland/ Thig-day. Captain Lillewall shot himself'through .the heart in s, street opposite his residence on the North Shore last night. The deceased was tbe son of the' late Capt.
Lillewall, of iho firm of Lillewnll and Eattray. He resided, with hn mother, but was away from home for two days, and was taken home las^ ni^ht by a young man named Koss Moss, who went into the house to see Mrs Lillewall, and Virile absent he heard a , shot. On returning: he found Lillewall lying'dead, with a revolver beside him. Dr Parkinson attended, and found thai the bullet had entered near the right nipple and into llVfe heart. The. deceased had married a widow, a barmaid, but wa« ' separated from hia.wife for some time. It is-reported"that he was suffering from the effects of, dTink, and was troubled in mind as to. pecuniary matters.
